“Bridges to Health is a Charitable Health Clinic in Marion, IN. Since 2005, our purpose is to serve Grant County by providing primary healthcare and health education services to individuals and families who lack adequate resources.”
The constant need for volunteers and funds to pay for medications creates a special kind of problem with the way BTH communicates with its community. The old mark was dusty in color and form, its points sharp and unwelcoming—the marketing materials covered in an ill fitting serif and repeated stock imagery. Stepping forward, we needed to respect the past, but strengthen the future of Bridges to Health. A large part of understanding our target audience went into visualizing a relationship of respect in such a vulnerable space. The entire brand identity was built to create an atmosphere of calm and security in moments of insecurity and upset.
These arms that cross and connect are also symbols of strength and unchanging mission and purpose. The new, cleaner font that is paired below the bridge helps create stability and security but remains friendly. The refreshed solution was widely accepted as an exciting update to a dusty logo.
